Zilbert P. Trotter I asked him if he was related to Rev. Trotter down the street. We knew each other for sometime and he knew my cousin James Meriwether. I always called him Zel. He was super funny always had folk laughing. People adored him as I did as well. Very talented too! During the holidays I tried reaching out to him because I didn’t have his new address. I made out a Christmas card that lays on my desk and the last recording of him on my phone back in August. Until we meet again buddy!

Zilbert was a beautiful person. Would keep you laughing. Would fix a meal and invite you over to eat. Was very educational when it came to the city of Cleveland. He loved music, singing and teaching. I miss his conversation, jokes and laughter. He was a true friend and our family will never forget him. With LOVE we must say goodbye.
