Leonard was born to Margaret Harris-Smith (deceased) on September 28, 1946 in Cleveland, OH. He was adopted by Ruby and Frederick (deceased) Stewart. Leonard attended Catholic School during most of his youth. He graduated from Glenville High School. Leonard was the life of any party he attended. He leaves his sons Leonard Ford (wife Daresha), Shawn Ford (wife Nicole), Keogh Ford (wife Natasha) and daughter Dalila Johnson, brothers Donald Smith (wife Yvonne), Walter Smith (deceased), Willie Smith, Eddie Smith (deceased), Earl Smith, and sister Carol James & brothers Frederick Stewart, Jr., Kenneth Stewart, Christopher Stewart (wife Deborah), and Terrence Stewart, eleven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends to cherish his memory.

Passed away June 21,2014. Funeral service Saturday, June 28, 2014 11am at H.M. Martin Funeral Home. Family receive friends at 10am. Public viewing Friday, June 27, 2014 12-7pm at funeral home.
