Wyvies Brown Adorno

Wyvies Brown Adorno was born on March 3, 1958 in Albion, Michigan, the union of Clinton Edward and Mary Alice Brown.  Wyvies, an only child was named after her aunt.Wyvies grew up in Albion, graduating from Albion Senior High School in June, 1976.  Later on in that year, she and her mother relocated to Akron, Ohio where she attended Akron University.  Beautiful inside and outside, Wyvies also graced the stages and runways as a model!Wyvies became the proud mother of a bouncing baby boy named Clinton Eugene Brown, who she said was the love of her life.  She was united in marriage to Juan Adorno, Jr. in April, 1994 and remained a faithful wife until her death. After working in the insurance industry for some years, Wyvies began working at Cablevision in 1995, which later became Adelphia and is now known as Time Warner Cable as a CSSR, in Quality Assurance and also was active in the various Political Action Committees.  Wyvies was often acknowledged for attaining various goals in the Call Center.  She was known as Taylor on the job, and was loved and admired by all. Wyvies was a very sweet, kind and gentle person.  She always greeted you with a wide infectious smile.  She ALWAYS had a compliment or kind word when she greeted you. Wyvies was introduced to the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research in the early 80s, joining the choir as an alto.  She was one of the best altos you EVER heard!  She always sang, giving her all with fervor and enthusiasm and so much energy.  She attended class diligently and came to know her Heavenly Father as he really is and actually exists. Wyvies frequently made trips to our headquarters’ branch located in Los Angeles, California, constantly talking of her desire to relocate there. Wyvies was known around the institute for the many songs she led.  One song she led, she lived to the utmost: “I Shall Not Be Moved”!  Wyvies lived the life she sang about in her song!Beautiful, beautiful kind Wyvies leaves to cherish her memory, her loving devoted husband, and best friend Juan; son Clinton Eugene Brown; her precious granddaughter, Camryn Brown; daughter RoseAda White; mother-in-law, Mercedes Adorno; father-in-law, Juan Adorno, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Blanka Iris Adorno, Ana (Raul) Aguilera, Rosa Adorno who preceded her in death, Emily (Eduard) Ayala and Marisol (Isaias) Adorno-Cruz, very dear friends whom she call sisters, Carmelita Lanier, Tona Baker and Latonya Hodoh, Sheryl Johnson and Darnella Robinson; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends, all of whom are too numerous to be mentioned.  Wyvies loved and cared for her mother-in-law and sisters-in-law deeply.  She had love for absolutely everyone!!

Memorial Service Saturday, July 26, 2014 11am at Second Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 12017 Emery Avenue Cleveland, Oh 44109. Family will receive friends at 1030am.
