Please call to make an appointment. This will ensure that the funeral director can give to you the proper care and attention you deserve and need.
TYPE OF SERVICE:
What of service type you would like for your loved one? Example: funeral service at a Church, a cremation with a memorial service, etc.
Please contact both the Funeral Director and Clergy prior to setting any date and time. This is very important, everyone MUST be on one accord before the actual date and time is scheduled.
Where will the service actually take place (the funeral home, church, hall, etc.)?
The information needed in order to complete the death certificate and other documents: Date of Birth, Date of Death, Social Security Number, Parents’ names, etc.
Organize the clothing you would like your loved one to wear. EXAMPLE of proper clothing: A MALE would require a suit, shirt, tie, socks and a complete set of undergarments. A FEMALE would require an outfit that has a high neckline, long sleeves (not sheer) and full undergarments (slip, panty, bra, stockings, knee highs or socks). Please Note…Clothing cannot be SHEER or SHORT SLEEVED. A SCARF is needed if the neckline does not have a collar or is low cut.
Please bring any deeds or receipts from any pre-purchase made at a cemetery.
Someone needs to write an obituary (the complete life history). Try to include activities, organizational memberships, personal interests and hobbies.
Please have a list of the gentlemen that you have contacted to be the pallbearers.
