Sharon Thomas

Sharon Lynn Thomas was born December 4, 1959 to the late Willie L Poole and Odealia Thomas Grayson in Cleveland, OH. Sharon was educated in the Cleveland Public School System and was a graduate of the 1977 senior class of John F. Kennedy Sr. High School. Sharon continued her education and earned a master degree from Akron University. Sharon as she was known by some and Cookie by other confess Christ at an early age and was a member of Phillip Stewart C.M.E. Church now known as Patton Memorial. She later joined Zion Chapel Baptist Church, after relocating to Akron, Ohio she became a member of Abundant Life Center Church. Sharon was also an active member and hard worker with her Fellowship Group and the Pink Ladies of the Java Shop. On October 24, 2014 after many ups and downs with her health, God saw that she was growing weary and called her home to rest, leaving to cherish her memories: Three brothers, David Thomas of South Carolina, Fred Thomas and Clayton Hall of Cleveland; two sisters, Brenda (Carl) Mabrey and Darnella Morrison of Cleveland; stepmother, Ernestine Poole, Special friend and Companion, Arleatha Clark, Devoted friend, Sylvester Jordan, two aunts, one great aunt, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
