Acqunetta Delores Little born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 14, 1947 to James C. Brooks and Willa Mae Brooks. She was the eldest of 10 children.
Acqunetta graduated high school from John Hay High School. Upon graduation she went on to Case Medical Institute, working in the Medical field for many years.
Acqunetta was a very strong woman with high intelligence. She married the man of her life Mr. Edward Pleas Little in 1970. They were married for twenty-five years until Edward passed away in 1995. Preceding Acqunetta in death are her parents, Willa Mae and James, and brother Dromin V. Brooks.
Acqunetta leaves to mourn her lost, four sister, Creta Brooks, Roxanne Perkins, Janava Baker, and Sophronia Fields; four brothers, Pasauell Brooks, Dwayne Brooks, Elliott Brooks, and Armand Brooks. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Two special brothers, Timothy Chaney and Darryl Chaney.
Acqunetta Little, we accept your precious gift you shared with us and say, rest and await your resurrection on the last day, our princess, our sister, our friend, our niece, our aunt, our soldier-in-war and life’s struggles, our kind friend- rest in the promises of the Lord.
Acqunetta passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. No public viewing. Private family service.
