Constance S. Boykin

Constance S. Boykin was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 17th, 1948 to the union of Herman Sr. and Isabella Stoves. Connie, as she was affectionately called, was the oldest of five children, Gwendolyn, Herman Jr., Mark Anthony and Michael Stoves. Connie was a Cradle Catholic attending both Catholic Church and Catholic School, graduating from Hoban Dominican School. After graduating, Connie joined the U.S. Navy, where she learned Office Management and Bookkeeping. When Connie returned to Cleveland in 1976, she gained employment at Reliance Electric, where she worked in Human Resources for 23 years finally becoming Director of Human Resources before it closed and relocated to North Carolina. Connie wanted to accept the offer to relocate ultimately deciding to stay in Cleveland. She found employment at The Rose Mary Center. She then moved on to Candlewood Nursing Home as a Human Resource Director. Connie left there to accept the position as Human Resource Director of Nova Machine Corporation, where she retired from in 2010.  While working at Reliance Electric, Connie attended Ursuline College and in 1993, Connie graduated from Notre Dame College with a Bachelor degree in Business Management. Connie’s favorite pass time was playing Bingo which brought her so much joy. While attending Holy Trinity Saint Edward Church every Sunday she would work the Bingo game. Mother’s Day, May 8th 1983, Connie & Warb met at Holy Trinity’s Bingo game and were immediately attracted to each other. After 1year of courting they married on July 31st, 1984. They were together 31 years and just celebrated 30 years of marriage. Between the two of them, they have 5 children. Connie’s biological son, Lawson (Chip) and Warb’s 3 daughters and 1 son, Kimberly, Robin, Nicole and Dante. Who are all brothers & sisters. They share a total of 14 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

No Public viewing. Memorial Mass Friday, November 14, 2014 11am at St. Agnes Our Lady of Fatima Church, 6800 Lexington Ave. Family will receive friends at 1030am.
